3/4 cup shortening(butter)
1cup sugar
1cup blanched cool raisins
4TBS cool raisin juice
2 eggs
2-1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp soda
Bake 350
1. Mix butter, sugar, eggs till creamy
2. Add raisin juice(cool)
3. Flour, baking soda, raisins (mix this by hand as an electric mixer cuts up raisins too much)
Great cookie for camp. Kids usually love 'em. If you want you can add a 1/2 cup of walnuts or some other nut you might like. I don't like any nuts in mine as I'm nuts enough.
